Celebrating the Women of Small Town America
Rural Leader Magazine is pleased to announce a National Call for the 2021 Celebrating the Women of Small Town America Honor. The CWSTA Honor recognizes diverse women from small communities in the Unites States ages 18 and up for exemplary leadership, achievement, and service to community. Applicants may self-nominate or be nominated by an individual, group, or organization. Honorees will be featured in the March 2021 issue of Rural Leader Magazine. A nomination must include the following information: 1) Nominee's full name, age, hometown (population 100,000 or less), and contact information (phone/email) 2) In 300 words or less, tell us why your nominee should be recognized; 3) Include any accolades or affiliations as appropriate; 4) A high quality head shot photo of nominee (at least 300 dpi); and 5) The Nominator's name, contact information (phone/email) and affiliated organization, if applicable. Nominations will be accepted January 15 through February 15. Email all nominations and questions to drkuanitaemurphy@gmail.com. Forty Under 40 Annually, Rural Leader Magazine searches for 40 exemplary individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their communities. Rural Leader 40 under 40 was developed with the purpose to recognize exclusively leaders from small communities in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The call for Nominations will begin March 1.
